June/July 1974, Our Fighting Forces #149 Cover, Frank Thorne pencils/inks, “A Bullet for a Traitor”, The losers were: Capt Storm, Johnny Cloud, and Gunner & Sarge, and Ona!; Their comic debut was in Our Fighting Forces #123 back in 1970 and they ran until the final issue of Our Fighting Forces, which ended with issue #181 in 1978. The great Frank Thorne only drew only one Big Five War cover for DC Comics – this one! Rare, indeed! In this classic cover issue, The Losers are attached to a British unit in the deserts of Northern Africa. One of the Losers, Ona, who has been captured by the Germans is believed to be working for the Germans. Im very proud to be the custodian of this great DC War cover by the great Frank Thorne!
