February 1984, Nathaniel Dusk #1 Cover, Gene Colan pencils/Dick Giordano inks, “Lovers Die at Dusk”, The interior art to this comic was published straight from Gene’s pencils! No inking was used. Color was added over the pencils in watercolor; It was one of the first times ever that this techniques was done; Nathaniel Dusk was a creation of the legendary writer Don McGregor! Nathaniel Dusk was a private investigator in 1930s depression-era New York City.
